Prawns are my favourite and favourite for my sis as well. I didn’t
taste prawns for a while and bought it last week so that I can make a similar
one like my amma does. But as usual ended in a innovative one. It was good
tasting. But a bit spicy.
Ingredients
Prawns
500 gm
Onion
1 big sliced
Tomato
1 big sliced
Chilli powder
1 tbsp
Coriander Powder
1 tbsp
Turmeric powder
1 tbsp
Ginger garlic paste
1 tbsp
Salt to taste
Coriander leaves
1 tbsp
Method:
1.
Heat oil in pan and sauté onions till it becomes
transparent. Then add the ginger garlic paste and fry till raw smell goes off.
2.
Then add the tomatoes and fry till it turns
mushy. Add all the masala powders and fry till the raw smell goes off.
3.
Then add the prawns and fry for 2 mins. Add
little water and cover it with a lid. Allow to cook on low flame for 20-30 mins
on low flame.
4.
Once the prawn is cooked, fry till all the water
drains off and the curry reaches a semi-gravy consistency. Garnish with
coriander leaves.
