Ingredients:
makes - 15 medium sized vadais
Onion - 3 large sliced
Besan/Gram flour - 1 cup (approximately)
Chilli powder - 2 tbsp
Saunf/Perunjeeragam - 2 tbsp
Curry leaves - 10 chopped
Salt to taste
Oil to deep fry
Method:
- In a bowl, take the sliced onion, besan flour,hing, chilli powder, curry leaves, saunf and salt. By adding water little by little, make a mixture, make note not batter, just mixture as shown in the picture.
- Be careful adding water, I just wetted and made the mixture as the onion itself gives out water.
- Heat oil in a pan, take small pieces of this mixture and deep fry in oil. Crispy onion vadai is ready.

add curry leaves and saunf
add besan, chilli powder, hing and salt
make into a mixture
take small part of mixture
drop in hot oil
once it turns golden brown, remove and drain on paper towel
